At Women Over 50 Film Festival we're creating a filmmaking world where women over 50 thrive. We engage audiences, build creative communities and celebrate films with women over 50 at their heart. At WOFFF all the short films you’ll see have:
- a woman over 50 as the central character or
- a woman over 50 in the core creative team (writer, director or producer)
From over 100 international film submissions, we select the absolute best to bring you our brightest, most packed and exciting festival yet. Over two days we’ve got six amazing programmes of 44 short films, as well as a brilliant all-female panel event and a practical workshop.
Prizes include Best Animation, Best Drama, Best Documentary, Best Experimental Film & Audience Choice Award.

The workshop will cover areas like recognising what you already have - be that equipment, experience, story, connections etc. and where to find what you need.
