A Spiritual Map of your Creative Self
Artist and astrologer Madeleine Botet de Lacaze hosts a performative workshop that explains the importance of astrology for leading a creative life.
In this workshop Madeleine explains the development of the zodiac and the meaning of the Sun, Moon and Ascendant in people's chart. By activating these energies, participants will discover and connect with their creative and inspiring self - the artist in themselves.
Astrology is about who we are and who we want to be. To be open to this language is to be open to the world and our inner selves. Astrology connects us with our nature making us be authentic. Astrology gives us freedom, it shows us the potential of who we can become but allows us to choose, to experiment, to play, to be creative with our lives. To learn about our Natal Chart is to understand in a deeper way our feelings, emotions, fears, pain, happiness, joy, love between other things. We are all fighting our own battles. We are all dancing in this wonderful tricky universe. We are all creating our lives - our most important creative act.
Astrology for Artists is about all of us, humans, people searching for liberation and unity.

Madeleine Botet de Lacaze
Madeleine Botet de Lacaze is an Argentine astrologer and performance artist based in London. She studied Cinematography in Argentina and moved to London in 2011 to complete an MA in Performance Art at Wimbledon College of Art. She has performed internationally at festivals such as Spill, In Between Time, Buzzcut, Sacred and Performatorium. She has worked with artists such as Marina Abramovic at the Serpentine Gallery, Ron Athey at Fierce Festival and she has been mentored by Franko B, Ron Athey, and Tim Etchells.
Madeleine founded Astrology for Artists four years ago. She studied astrology at CASA 11 in Buenos Aires and at the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London. Her astrology practice aims to communicate and reflect upon what makes us creative and what makes us feel alive. She believes in change and transformation, in communicating through sharing and connecting. And most of all, in our resilient body and our restless creative mind working together and allowing us to fully express ourselves. Through Astrology for Artists Madeleine now creates unique creative retreats, experiences, events and classes.
