Description

Celebrating 40 years in the business, Linzi Drew-Honey will be talking candidly about her glamour career as well as her writing as a critically acclaimed author of erotic fiction. With the help of Misty Moon’s special guest MC Michael Barber, Linzi will be taking part in recitals from her novels.

Linzi Drew-Honey is a former British movie/television actress, glamour model, adult actress, movie producer/director, and writer. Linzi was born Lindsay Jayne Drew on 11th May 1958 in Bristol, U.K. She moved to London in her early 20s to fulfil her dream of being a model.

Linzi is best known for playing Brenda Bristols in An American Werewolf In London (1981). She featured in the porno film-within-a-film See You Next Wednesday.

Linzi was a firm favourite with Ken Russell and featured in three of his films, Aria (1987), Salome’s Last Dance (1988) and The Lair of the White Worm (1988).

Other roles include Emmanuelle in Soho (1981), and the horror movie Death Shock (1981) directed by Steve Perry and Frank Thring. She starred alongside Peter O’Toole, Omar Sharif and Christopher Lee in the drama/fantasy The Rainbow Thief (1990). She also appeared in television dramas such as Dempsey and Makepeace (1985) and C.A.T.S. Eyes (1985) and had one off roles in The Bill and Eastenders.

Linzi has a son, Tyger Drew-Honey, best known for his role as Jake Brockman in the BBC1 sitcom Outnumbered and Dylan in the BBC1 sitcom, Cuckoo. More recently, Linzi has penned two well reviewed erotic thrillers, Every Shade of Blue and Every Shade of Black.

After the gig, Linzi will meet and greet the audience and will take part in a paid signing.

Doors open at 18.30, for a 19.30 start.

Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar.

There will also be a special screening of An American Werewolf In London (1981) at 17.30 before the main event (separate ticket required, details here).
