Delighted to welcome NTS heavyweight DEBONAIR to Cobalt for her Newcastle debut. 

With a voracious, genre scrambling music appetite DEBONAIR has made a name for herself as a charismatic yet uncompromising party catalyst with a succession of celebrated live appearances at key festivals and major clubs, a small selection being Dekmantel Selectors, DC-10, De School , Unsound and Panorama Bar. 

Her temperature raising selections lace together strands of avant-garde electronics, rave, EBM, no-wave, proto-techno, tripped-out house, post-punk and more into innovative yet cohesive bodies of sound, which crescendo into pure vitalizing energy during her renowned peak-time sets.

'Adventurous and transportive... her [Blowing Up The Workshop] mix covers plenty of ground: Fleetwood Mac, Cocteau Twins, Stereolab, Gangsta Boo, psych rock, Gregorian chants overlaid with computer vocalizations. BOD:[包家巷] is an audiovisual artist from Tucson and based in Berlin who has released on ZOOM LENS, QuantumNatives, Knives and most recently Danse Noire. Their work can be generalized to be theoretics on the technologicaland psychological, while individual units of releases and performance move deeper into the ever dissolving boundary between art and the rest of life. Most recent focus has been on sound artworks, but in the past bod produced as a typographer and a photographer. bod shows come as a bundled option with engaged hyper reality visuals.

CADI: plays a variety of bass-driven funky house - drawing on her influences from RnB to Hip-hop, Garage and Grime. Think bass-face with a winding-waist.
