Carnaby Street Eat, the free-entry street food festival, returns for its fifth and biggest year this summer on Saturday 11 August 2018 from 12-6pm.

Experience Carnaby’s vibrant restaurants, bars and coolest cafés for a Carnaby alfresco summer party. Taste affordable signature plates and cocktails for one day only, at food stalls and trucks serving exclusive £5 taster dishes, transforming Carnaby into an exciting dining experience in the heart of London’s West End. With over 30 global cuisines on offer and the chance to relax and listen to live music, there’s something for everyone and the perfect day out with friends and family.

Sustainable seafood and festival stalwarts Claw will serve street food inspired dishes including their famous crab and lobster rolls, whilst the menu at Stevie Parle’s Pastaio will feature cacio pepe bucatini, parmesan rigatoni and blackberry prosecco slushies, sure to be a big hit at the festival. Both restaurants will join Carnaby’s extensive line-up of global cuisines; including Korean fried chicken from Jinjuu, British oysters and prosecco from Wright Brothers Soho and chargrilled chorizo burgers at Dehesa.

Check out Carnaby’s latest openings: INKO NITO will serve their robatayaki Japanese cuisine including beef cheek, pickled daikon and butter lettuce, and Pitta Bun will bring a unique taste of Greece with their chicken, lamb and veggie pittas.

Enjoy street food from Kingly Court favourites including; tonkotsu ramen and BBQ pork steamed buns from Shoryu Carnaby, gourmet chicken and falafel kebabs from Le Bab, pizza slices and Limoncello from Pizza Pilgrims or Dirty Bones’ MacDaddy sliders and Mutts Nutts cocktail. For extra heat this summer, indulge in authentic North Indian & Bengali cuisine with home cooked dishes from Asma Khan’s Darjeeling Express.

Ugly Dumpling will serve their Asian fusion dumplings – choose from duck, pork belly or chicken satay, or why not try one of each. The Newburgh Quarter’s Kua ‘Aina will be offering Hawaiian inspired burgers with their Big Wave Golden Ale or pick up an authentic chorizo roll from Broadwick Street’s Tapas Brindisa Soho.

For those with a sweet tooth, make sure to stop by Crumbs & Doilies for beautiful handcrafted cupcakes and bakes or Bread Ahead for their signature doughnuts, washed down with an Aperol or Campair Spritz from Polpo.

The West End’s longest picnic table will line the length of Carnaby Street allowing visitors to dine alfresco, whilst the Newburgh Quarter will be transformed into a chill out area complete with grass lawn, bean bags, deck chairs and DJ. Live music can also be enjoyed around the 14 streets of Carnaby during the event, including 1940’s entertainment from Cahoots and retro trio The Hotsie Totsies. Throughout the day, there’ll all be offers and promotions to look out for in over 100 Carnaby shops.
