About
I am a professional visual artist living in Copenhagen. My art practice is grounded in textile traditions shaped by repair, reuse, and scarcity. Informed by my Eastern European background marked by material limitation and inherited forms of care, I investigate vulnerability, maintenance, and repair as disciplined, embodied forms of knowledge rather than symbolic gestures.
I understand care as labor — a set of actions requiring time, responsibility, and endurance — rather than idealized intimacy. Through repeated gestures and extended attention, I examine how knowledge is transmitted across generations under conditions of instability and loss.
My work remains with fragility, testing how networks of care and repair emerge when dominant systems falter. In the current political violence my action is to create a community where people can experience personal emotional repair and moments of vulnerability by practicing art at any level. This has the potential to expand at a collective level for creating a system of care and repair.
