Two Piece are starting the New Years with a filthy good show. Live sets from the super great TRASH KIT, headlining The Victoria. Plus more announced soon! Tickets £6.
The heart of London's DIY music scene, Trash Kit's expressive drumbeats, wild melodies and overlapping sung-spoke lyrics are brimming with folk spirit and post-punk attitude. Drawing influence from the likes of like X-Ray Spex, The Ex and The Raincoats, TK are made up of Rachel Aggs (Shopping, Covergirl, Sacred Paws), Rachel Horwood (Bamboo, Halo Halo) and Gill Partington.
Doe have been regular proponents of the UK’s DIY scene since forming in early 2013, playing in various small venues across the country to crowds that are becoming increasingly enthusiastic over the band’s positive take on nihilism. Live, they have a formidable presence; the frantic urgency of which translates well on record, thanks to trusted producer Matthew Johnson (Hookworms, Suburban Studios). - The Quietus http://www.doetheband.co.uk/
Porridge Radio "Porridge Radio has been crafting emotional psychedelic lofi vomit music for a few years... Hypnotic and raw, there is an element of honesty and pathos present in her music that serves a foolproof antidote to the real world. She sings, she shouts, she breaks the internal microphone on her laptop. What more could you want? A demented homage to Neil Young? A beautiful song about periods? You got it." - Memorials of Distinction https://porridgeradio.bandcamp.com/album/rice-pasta-and-other-fillers
