The Shed with Tobie Carpenter Organ Trio

Mar 16 2017 19:00 - 23:00

Kansas Smitty's, 63-65 Broadway Market, E8 4PH London

The Shed challenges listeners with an ever-changing list of performers that the minds behind Smitty’s have curated to entertain and enlighten. You may think that going to see a classical accordionist or Indian Sarod player is out of your comfort zone, but trust that the Smitty’s team won’t lead you astray. The Shed is always forward thinking, but most importantly, always good.

The contemporary Organ Trio plays Carpenter's originals, celebrating the music of 1920's New Orleans, 1950's New York and new millennium Europe. Melodic, swinging compositions with fun and passionate improvisation from three of the UK's most exciting young Jazz musicians. This gig marks the group's first release: 'Dead Pan Party' (Turquoise Coconut Records).
