In the spirit of Easter and all things chocolatey we are holding a wine and chocolate tasting on Thursday 13th April, and will show you how chocolate really can taste good with wine! Chocolatier Amanda Smith from Amuse Chocolate in Symondsbury will demonstrate the art of chocolate pairing with Furleigh wines. Be prepared to try some memorable chocolate taste experiences such as rose & geranium, baked apple & pine nut and strawberry & black pepper. Amanda’s chocolates are made in Symondsbury and use as many locally produced ingredients as possible. The evening will feature 5 Furleigh wines to try (2 sparkling and 3 still), paired with chococlate that complements the wine and challenges our taste experience. Amanda will guide you through flavour combinations, taste sensations and talk about why we love chocolate so much!
