Balls, Barriers and Bulldozers
is a 40 minute documentary film about women’s football tour to the West Bank, Palestine. The film follows players from Bristol’s own Easton Cowgirls football team and Republica Internationale from Leeds as they travelled to Palestine in October 2014. With the support of Hebron International Resource Network (HIRN) the women made links with Palestinian communities in the West Bank, playing football with newly established women’s teams in Hebron, Ramallah, and Bethlehem.

Alongside the unique experience of playing football with a wide variety of women from across the West Bank, the team heard stories and witnessed some of the daily realities for Palestinians living under Israeli occupation.

The film will be followed by a question and answer session with members of the football team including the film creator Harriet Hoare, a camera operator, footballer, and editor from Bristol.

All proceeds from tickets will go towards Hebron International Resource Network (HIRN).
