This Shoot from the Heart workshop is aimed at small businesses who want to understand their camera so that they can take the type of shots that really work for their business. Learn a new skill and be inspired in a hands-on environment that uses everyday language to explain the fundamentals of photography and how to be creative with the images you capture.

Taught by a professional photographer with a strong background of design and marketing - these skills combined offer a unique and jam-packed workshop, with a valuable mixture of technical and creative photography skills, plus knowing how to use them effectively within your business.

This workshop is taught in a small group (max. 7 people) so that individual help can be offered in the practical learning about photography, plus one-to-one advice and ideas are included for how to promote YOUR business using YOUR images.

You will need: a DSLR or bridge/compact system camera for the practical element of the course - most bridge/compact system cameras with the ability to take off auto will be suitable, please just ask if you are unsure and I can check your camera model for you.

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

    The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.   • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

    The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.   • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

    If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.
