    Description

Encouraging young people to connect with wild nature can bring a wide range of benefits and help support recovery; and youth awards can add value to experiences and help celebrate achievements.

Join the John Muir Trust for a free webinar that will:

    • highlight the positive impacts of engaging young people in nature
    • introduce the John Muir Award and share examples of how it’s used in the youth sector
    • share ideas and resources to help you get started.

Thanks to support from the John Muir Award’s funders in Scotland, this webinar is open to anyone working with young people in Scotland, and is free to attend. Booking is required.

    Who are we?

The John Muir Trust is a conservation charity dedicated to the experience, protection and repair of wild places. The John Muir Award is our environmental award scheme. It helps people connect with, enjoy, and care for wild places on local doorsteps and further afield. The John Muir Award is suitable for participants working at later stage of primary education and beyond – including adults. We also offer a Family John Muir Award that welcomes involvement as a family unit and can include all ages and abilities. Visit www.johnmuiraward.org to find out more.
