WRY
The Sao Paulo band prefer Blur and My Bloody Valentine to samba or bossa-nova; they sold their souls to rock'n'roll, started a band and called themselves Wry.
Fans, producers and friends abroad include the likes of Tim Wheeler (Ash), The Subways, Deb Googe and Kevin Shields (MBV), Gordon Raphael, The Joy Formidable, among others. In the UK, signed to ClubAC30, release an EP and 7´´ and played with Ash, The Cribs, The Rakes, ConnanMockasins, Factory Floor et al.
This is their ONLY London show.
SKY BETWEEN LEAVES
The trio blend Krautrock, Neo-Psychedelia and Shoegaze with a distinctive sound that amalgamates Tones on Tail's doom pop beats, Can's fluidly percolating bass lines, the monolithic reverberation of My Bloody Valentine's guitars and Love & Rockets ghostly vocals. <br /><br />
LIQUORICE RIVER
Liquorice River take you on an aural journey fuelled by bitter nostalgia and sardonic sentimentality, stopping off along the way at junctions of 60's psychedelia, glam, dub, folk, indiepop, krautrock and interludes of both a cinematic and electronic nature. Their liveshows are an intense explosion of dramatic psychedelia and intense showmanship.
