"Throughout history, women have gathered in sacred circle. Be it around a fire in prehistoric times, within hushed monasteries of the Middle Ages, in consciousness-raising groups in 1970’s living rooms or online groups in the digital age, women have long congregated to laugh, share, heal, care for children, grieve, and spiritually connect in community.

When we meet in circle we join to hold everyone in sacred space and purpose. We are bringing forth an ancient way of connecting into modern times. We gather to share stories, to deepen our identities individually and in group—often with the intention to enable and shape a postpatriarchal way of being. We also gather to heal life. We can meet in circle to share our joys our sadnesses, our weaknesses or whatever we feel we need support with, and we can meet in circle to help to change our world."

Welcoming in my second ever Women's Listening Circle in phase with the New Moon, this is a perfect time to finish the clearing process of all that the previous full moon helped us to clear out, a time for new manifestations, healing rituals and grounding and a great time to tend to and nourish our spiritual gardens.

This is your opportunity to be heard. Within the structure of the circle, there is no hierarchy; each woman’s voice is equally important, her story honoured and received fully. In this sacred space, a collective power is harnessed. And when there is focused intent on healing – individually and collectively – magic happens. The support, creativity, and sharing of ideas that is fostered in women’s circles has the power to translate into something much larger and more palpable.

7PM - SETTLE IN AND GET COSY, help yourself to some nourishing tea and treats.

7:15 - SHORT INTRODUCTION FROM LANA AND A BLESSING TOGETHER TO OPEN UP THE CIRCLE FOR THE EVENING.

7:30 - THE SHARING BEGINS. EACH PERSON WILL BE GIVEN THE CHANCE TO INTRODUCE THEMSELVES, AND TALK ABOUT WHY THEY ARE HERE. THIS IS YOUR TIME TO SHARE ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE, SAD OR HAPPY, ANGRY OR EMOTIONAL. THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD AND SUPPORTED IN WHATEVER IT IS YOU ARE GOING THROUGH.

8:45 - AFTER SHARING WE CLEANSE THE SPACE TOGETHER, RELEASING ANYTHING WE WISH TO LET GO OF TO THEN SET SOME POSITIVE INTENTIONS AND PRAYERS MOVING FORWARD. THIS INCLUDES JOURNALING - PHYSICALLY WRITING OUT YOUR WISHES, DESIRES AND INTENTIONS.
