WMA Meeting - "Storms and Sunglasses: direct observations of giant exoplanets"
Ben Sutlieff is a member of the Wells and Mendip Astronomers and following on from his degree, he has gone on to the University of Amsterdam to undergo his PhD research into researching giant exoplanets and the instruments needed to image them. This talk is sure to be both super interesting and informative. Here is Ben's synopsis:
"Recent advancements in technology now allow us to image giant exoplanets directly, offering the first glimpses into their atmospheres. In this talk I will explain the innovative methods used to achieve this and the exciting things we can learn about these distant worlds, from their formation to the chemical compositions of their clouds, and the vast weather systems that cross their skies."
