Description
Join us on the Winter Solstice for a reflective and peaceful natural mindfulness walk in the beautiful grounds of Ickworth Park.
During this taster wellbeing walk, we will introduce you to some natural mindfulness techniques, to help you quieten your mind, drop in to your body, awaken your senses and become fully present with nature.
Together we will explore and experience the health benefits of slowing down and connecting more deeply with nature, to reduce stress, relieve anxiety and bring a greater sense of calm, clarity and inner peace. Drawing on mindfulness, meditation, nature connection practices and ancient wisdom, we will reflect on the meaning of this special time of year and open our hearts and minds to the teachings of nature.
Some of the walk will be in silence and there will be some opportunities to chat and share. All of the walk will be slow, meditative and reflective to assist us in reaching a sense of awe and wonder of our natural world.
This is our first walk at Ickworth Park. The National Trust have kindly agreed to waive entry fee to the park for this taster to natural mindfulness.
Your investment for this guided experience is £10 and booking is essential. Please send a facebook message via The Mind Sanctuary facebook page to book.
This is event is for adults only.
