Kicking off a monster weekend of reggae, jerk and rum, Platterform have invited their friends with the biggest love for Caribbean cuisine and good party vibes to join them for a couple of nights of pre- Carnival feasting at their rooftop abode- The Skyroom.
Platterform will be running a rum and jerk shack at the Notting Hill Carnival at the Rough But Sweet Sound System hosted by good friends NTS Radio!
Friday 23rd August:
WHITE MEN CAN'T JERK
Although relatively new to the pop-up food game, there’s already some solid hype behind WMCJ's culture clash of flavours. Smashing together vibrant delicacies from the opposite side of the world whilst keeping elements firmly grounded in their British roots.
WMCJ produce high quality food that shows their genuine love of all things Caribbean with a twist, bringing you bold flavour combos and feel good vibes.
Think Curried Mutton Shepherd’s Pie with a sweet potato mash topping, moreish Red Stripe poached Fried Chicken Wings or their signature Jerk Chicken cooked on their custom made beautiful smoking grill, Tallulah. Looking after the herbivores, they have included Jerk Halloumi with Aubergine and Tobago Casserole in their repertoire.
WMCJ always make sure you leave with sunshine in your belly and a grin on your face!
Check them out!
