Description

Master guitarist James Boyd will give a concert celebrating life, love and the beautiful sailing boats of the East Anglian Coast. Joined by marine artist Anne Plummer who specialises in paintings of traditional barges and working boats this concert will touch all the senses. local entrepreneur Ash Faire-Ring will work his way into the harbour by boat to deliver a cargo of fine ale to the door of the boathouse as night falls. A lamplit procession will lead the audience into an experience which will finish with a rustic supper of artisan locally produced food.

James Boyd has made a name for producing immersive concert experiences in wild and beautiful locations. Boyd grew up in Norfolk and this landscape has informed much of his career. Boyd’s wilderness concerts have inspired people around the globe and he has recently returned from speaking and performing in Marrakech at one of the world’s top conferences about luxury experiences.

Anne Plummer’s career began among an elite group of artists in Cornwall. She has lived aboard her own boat for 20 years and as a sailor, engineer and adventurer captures the spirit of the sea and the boats that sail it with a high degree of technical accuracy combined with an impressionist style.

Ash Faire-Ring has already made a name for himself as an enterprising young businessman, adventurer and sailor. He owns the traditional Barge yacht, Growler; a historic vessel which he is restoring to her original glory. He plans to join the growing sail cargo movement and transport food and ale to London, Europe and beyond.
