    Description

Do you ever mean to read the papers but never quite get round to it?

Do you care about what's happening in Syria but are also worried that Kanye West is too controlling of Kim? Do you want to know what's happening in the news but are worried you've missed too many episodes and will never be able to catch up? Then WHTNEDFM is the new monthly topical comedy night for you!

Every month Grainne Maguire (as seen on Stewart Lee's Alternative Comedy Experience, BBC3's Free Speech, as heard on The Now Show and Stephen K Amos' An Idiot's Guide, writer for The News Quiz and Dead Ringers) invites three comedians to bring along a story they think is the most important from the past month. They then have to argue why their story is the one the audience should care it about; anything from Milbands new policy to Cheryl's new hair colour to a house mate that keeps stealing their butter.

Finally a night that is brave enough to pitch NHS reforms against Bewitched reforming and asks which one will affect the most people's lives. Really. I mean really really. It's not so much dumbing down the news, so much as dumbing it up

With guests Rachel Parris, Lee Kern and Andrew Watts. Hosted by Grainne Maguire as always.
