West Essex are extremely proud to announce an action-packed Christmas party with some bonafide football legends in attendance. Micky Hazard notched up over a 100 appearances in two spells at Spurs as well as spending 5 seasons at Chelsea. Graham Roberts had a pro career that spanned 20 years and racked up a whopping 429 appearances as well as representing England 6 times. Both were members of the successful Spurs side of the early 1980s, winning two FA Cups and a UEFA cup in 1984. Hazard registered assists in both legs and Roberts scored in the second leg of the final against Anderlecht, before scoring his penalty as Spurs won the shootout. This evening will provide a truly fascinating insight into their playing days at White Hart Lane and their opinions on the game in general. We'll also have the enormous pleasure of re-establishing our man-crushes on Martin Gritton whose goals fired the club to their Middlesex County League Premier Division title in 2016 and promotion to senior football. More notably (outside of Higham Park) he also played over 300 times as a professional taking the cumulative amount of appearances in the room into four figures. If that wasn't already enough, we're going to feed you, present you with a couple of guest DJ's and raffle a load of marvellous prizes that will surely thrill the many men in the room that won't have done any christmas shopping yet. All for 20 quid. Back of the net.
