At the start of Autumn, we invite you to take some time to rekindle your wellness, by spending a blissful morning of yoga and relaxation.

The turn on seasons is the perfect time to reflect on the abundance we have collected through the summer months, and prepare our bodies to wind down and relax for the cooler months ahead, as nature transforms itself, so should we!
Hosted at the stunning Space at the mill Studio in Castlefield, Manchester, you’ll feel calm and collected as soon as you walk through the doors.

You’ll have the chance to:
Explore Mindfulness: theory and practice

Learn how your diet can impact the nervous system

Nourish yourself with a delicious plant-based feast

Melt into a delicious yin yoga practice with live music and poetry 

Float away in a yoga nidra (aka disco nap)

Leave with a goodie bag armed with recipes and other treats

We will focus on the loving benefits of yoga and meditation, reducing stress and ways to improve your wellbeing. You’ll leave feeling gorgeous and renewed…..plus a little more connected and loved.

ENERGISING MORNING FLOW 

Move with purpose through a 60 mins energising morning yoga flow to calm and relax the nervous system.

MINDFULNESS MEDITATION 

An introduction to mindfulness, providing you with genuine and graspable insight into what it is and some practical tools to take away that can have a real impact on your life.

YIN WITH LIVE MUSIC AND POETRY

Experience calm, tranquility and relaxation as you melt into a delicious yin yoga practice, supported by the soothing sounds of live music and poetry.

DISCO NAP (Yoga Nidra)

Expect to fall into a deep meditative state where healing can take place and balance is restored for the body, mind and soul.

SOOTHING BRUNCH 

Enjoy a tummy loving healthy brunch whilst learning about how food can heal the body and mind, why you should care about your nervous system and the positive changes you can make.

Looking after our diet is integral to managing our nervous system and overall health. So, why not enjoy a healthy soothing brunch while learning about how your diet impacts the nervous system. You will come away from this session with plenty of delicious recipes to ground and sooth your nervous system.

During this half-day retreat, you’ll get the opportunity to try all of these amazing activities and techniques while learning how to live more of a fruitful way of life, in contribution for optimum health from the inside out.

Please bring a blanket to get cosy for your disco nap and a notepad to take down any notes during the ‘Gut-Friendly Brunch’ session.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT GEORGIA

I’m continually inspired by yoga’s transformative power—both internally and externally, and find it to be a source of love and strength. I strive to bring a sense of fun, freedom and kindness to all my classes, and hope to impart yogic wisdom along the way. My classes are vinyasa-based (linking breath with movement) with strong emphasis on alignment and from time to time I throw in elements from other types of yoga I have studied.

As an accredited Breathworks Mindfulness Teacher as well as a BACP registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist, working both in the NHS and privately, I see every interaction with a person or a group of people as an opportunity to master the very things which bring about positive change. Therapy, mindfulness and the alleviation of human suffering is a passion, a career and a way of being for me.
