    Description

    Tuesday 6th March at 7.30am

Networking Breakfast with guest speaker, Lisa Cosh.

    Into the future with Wymondham's

    interactive Heritage Trail.

Lisa is the Visitor Economy Initiative Coordinator for South Norfolk Council. The visitor economy is one of the country’s strongest performing sectors and councils play a crucial role by creating the conditions for it to thrive, supporting local economy growth, jobs and prosperity.

South Norfolk Council has secured European funding to build a walking trail app that incorporates virtual reality and augmented reality to allow users to immerse themselves in the towns' past. The app, which goes live this summer, will also include a 'dashboard' for including information on where to eat and stay in the area, local maps and attractions, and also give businesses the opportunity to add their offers.

There's also a children's version, tying in with the GoGoHares project which although centred in Norwich, includes 'county hares', and one of these will be in Wymondham marking the start of the trail.

Come along to find out how this exciting initiative aims to entice more people to visit our town.

WBN is a monthly meeting and networking group for anybody connected with business in Wymondham and the surrounding areas. A chance to swap ideas and meet other businesses over breakfast, the most important meal of the day.
