Description
Join this year’s sponsored Walk for WasteAid and help save the oceans from plastic waste. We are raising money to train people in plastics recycling, in the poorest parts of the world.
We'll be walking between the two greats of Manchester football, starting at the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford, home of Manchester United, through the middle of town via the canals and waterways of this great city to the home of Manchester City FC.
As we follow the 25km route along the water's edge, we'll have plenty of time to think about how we take a clean and healthy city for granted, as we raise money for those living without something as simple as a bin collection.
Everyone is welcome, and there is no obligation to complete the full walk.
