This 2 hour (digital) introductory course is for anyone in Gwynedd, Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire, Wrexham, Flintshire who want to develop their understanding and experience of connecting, enjoying and caring for nature and wild places through the John Muir Award. This Introduction to the John Muir Award, explores the background, ethos, relevant skills, knowledge and approaches needed for delivering the John Muir Award, and the opportunities the Award framework provides to support improved health and wellbeing, links to the new curriculum for Wales and the wide variety of opportunities available to organisations across Wales.
Available in Welsh and English, This course is also an excellent opportunity for you to engage in CPD, refresh your experiences and keep up to date with resources, initiatives and best practice.
