VoxSling June & July course
Singing workshops for pregnant and new mothers with part harmony songs, gentle movement and breathwork.
A new project from Tara Franks (founder of Tots Tunes & Vox Voices)
N.B NEW DATES - 4 workshops
@ The Crown, Old Town, Hastings
9th & 16th JUNE (1 week break) 23rd & 30th JULY
10am - 11am (Singing starts 10.15am)
Suitable for pregnant mothers and carers with babes-in-arms (pre walkers - upto 9 months)
Participants are encouraged to join the full course, There are varied sign up options available however to suit all needs.
Please join as many courses as you wish, the singing work grow from course to course, supporting both returning singers and new members to the group.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Tara will lead the group through a series of gentle breathing exercises and some movement along with the singing (you don't need to be a confident singer to join!)
We will learn a collection of easy yet satisfying part harmony songs - so you will have a bank of songs to continuing singing at home
These workshops are for you the parents, with your babes in arms also being bathed in sound
Why singing? - there is so much research into the benefits of singing for new mothers, and in turn the support singing can have on language and emotional development of your child and soon to be born child.

For full course places, booking fees are merged into the ticket price.

Yes, come with your babes-in-arms (pre walkers/9 months and below) - this is for both of you!
Yes, come if you are pregnant to sing for you and your baby and meet new local mothers.
We encourage new mothers with babes-in-arms to come with a sling - however buggies can fit in the space if you use a buggy not sling.
Singing will start at 10.15am however you can come from 10am to meet other people and have a cup of tea or coffee - The Crown will be open for participants.
As long as there is space in the room no one will be turned away at the door, all welcomed

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
