Come and join the pilot of Vox Voices in Hastings (starts 29th February). Running for the last 8 yrs as part of Tara Franks's East London based social enterprise SoundsCreative, Tara is now launching the Vox Voices vocal lab in Hastings.

Try out workshop one (Thursday 29th Feb) and then decide if you want to join the whole 4 weeks.

(Email to reserve your place or booking for single workshop if preferred).

What to expect?

Over 4 workshops we will learn a collection of new part-harmony songs all by ear and start every week with group warms ups bringing us into the room together with voice, movement and breath. All in all a restorative and uplifting experience!

How?

We will explore group improvisation, sound baths and focus on the resonance of collective singing.

Who?

Open to female singers (experienced and not!) who want to learn part harmony songs by ear, explore some group vocal improvisation, mixed with a little body percussion and movement.

* It is possible to join for Individual workshop dates however we will be learning a collection of songs over the course so coming to all 4 weeks is the most rewarding!

If cost is a barrier to you being able to join please get in touch with Tara about supported places.

Testimonials and VV singers feedback:

" it’s just so uplifting and fulfilling. I leave feeling rejuvenated and eager for the next week!"

"Harmonizing as a group is just so powerful when we all focus and get it. The selection of songs have been completely gorgeous - I love all of them and sing them constantly at home"

"I can start a session of Vox feeling completely out of sorts and leave with a big smile on my face "

MORE ABOUT THE SONGS:

Vox Voices is an all female singing group, set up as a course of weekly workshops.  Everything is learnt by ear, the songs includes original arrangements of folk melodies, rounds, songs picked up on travels, a bit of collective improv & sound baths too! (all experiences welcome).

Restorative and uplifting - come and experience the joy of being part of an a cappella vocal group. We move, we sing, we add body percussion and learn to move seamlessly from part to part - it's sound for the soul.
