Vox Voices Vocal Lab - Women Sing
A playful Sunday afternoon singing workshop for all experiences
Sunday 10th November 4.30 - 6pm
Led by singer, creative leader & Vox Voices founder Tara Franks
Come and join this playful Sunday afternoon workshop open to female singers of all experiences. In Vox Voices style, Tara will lead the group through a series of activities from warms ups, collective improvising, sound baths, circle songs to creating new harmonies together. Over the course of the workshop we will explore our own voices within this supportive group context, play with sound in an improvisatory way and hone in on group listening. We will also learn 1 or to 2 a cappella tunes, swapping from part to part with everything learnt by ear.
Guaranteed to be both restorative and uplifting.
Whether you are a confident singer and want the chance to be part of a group, a nervous but intrigued singer or a regular Vox Voices member, this workshop is for you as everyone will be supported to find their voice within the group sound.

Vox Voices is an all female singing group, set up as weekly short courses or weekend workshops/retreat days. Everything is learnt by ear, the songs includes original arrangements of folk melodies, rounds, songs picked up on travels, a bit of collective improv & sound baths too! (all experiences welcome).
Sound for the Soul - come and experience the joy of being part of an a cappella vocal group. We move, we sing, we add body percussion and learn to move seamlessly from part to part - it's sound for the soul.
