Description

Vox Voices is a course of relaxed and playful vocal workshops, with body percussion, movement and uplifting world, folk and jazz melodies learnt by ear.

Run as a course of 9 weekly workshops with new songs each season.

Why come to Vox Voices?

Restorative and uplifting, come and experience the joy of being part of an a cappella vocal group. We move, we sing, we add body percussion and learn to move seamlessly from part to part - it's sound for the soul. Make space for this weekly musical experience in your busy lives.

Vox Voices is for all singers and would-be singers, regardless of experience. Everything is learnt by ear, the repertoire includes original arrangements of folk melodies, songs picked up on travels, rediscovered jazz arrangements and a bit of collective improv too!

and...

It is led by Tara Franks (Cellist/singer and Creative Director of SoundsCreative Projects).

Singers say….

“I can't tell you how uplifting and magical a thing it is”

"... No matter how big or small the group is the way we learn never fails to produce a beautiful and extremely satisfying sound almost immediately.

“Tara has a rare gift of creating a really warm collaborative and fun environment with great musical results.”

“beautiful arrangements of such a thoughtful selection of songs”
