From the Royal Opera House and the Royal Academy of Music, Hanna Hipp (mezzo-soprano) and Emma Abbate (piano) will make us explore a very interesting selection of folk songs by four composers, coming from different European countries. The two performers, both well established in the most-recognised UK musical circles, come to our cosy hall to let us enjoy some fascinating music by Poulenc, Britten, Pizzetti and de Falla. At the end of their concert, Hanna and Emma are happy to sign their CDs and have a chat with the audience.
