Vocal Workshop: No safety net & Groove is in the heart

Choir leaders and former Swingle Singers Liz Swain and Kevin Fox bring a combined 30 years experience of dynamic vocal coaching experience to this fun, interactive workshop. Suitable for all ages and mixed abilities.

Come along and join us for two hours of singing. No sight reading necessary, no audition, no solos (unless you want to). An afternoon of Rhythm but no blues, Music and lots of laughter. Our venue is a beautifully heated fabulous church where we will be singing in the round and creating some amazing harmony.  The perfect way to welcome the Spring!

The workshops : Yes, there's lots of singing, fear not!

"No safety net": unlocking creativity through improvisation. You will learn how to make music in the moment and gain confidence in your own creativity. We all have the ability to be spontaneous, to improvise and to think on our feet.

"Groove is in the heart": Discovering your inner drummer. Ever thought there was more to rhythm than just counting beats? What is it about groovy music that makes you want to move your feet? This workshop will help you develop your personal sense of rhythm and improve your inner metronome.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.
