Primitive Painters returns on Monday 31st October for a HALLOWEEN SPECIAL of previously sold out - VIDEO BABE: COLLAGE FOR STOP MOTION ANIMATION
Collage and video veteran, CHARLIE of Liberty & Bread, will be your guide to each diverse medium, with hands-on instruction and an account of the time she put her finger tips in the bin by accident.
Using FOUND and VINTAGE PHOTOGRAPHY of a spooky scary ilk, you will cut and create collage scenes to then animate into a collaborative stop motion FILM. The technique really lends itself to the surreal, anything goes, IMAGINATION is what we want from you.
Leave with your FRAMED COLLAGE, a copy of the VIDEO and probably the kind of image burn that will haunt your eye lids for weeks. It’s amazing what you can animate with a few bits and bobs…

-this is a very limited ticketed event
-drop-ins are welcome please check here for sold out updates
-each ticket admits one and includes the ticketing sites admin charge
-this is a tutored session and all levels of ability are welcome
-materials are provided for on the day, you are welcome to bring found paper, photographs, packaging -please aim for within A5 dimensions
-the subject matter is mildly explicit and not suitable for minors, prudes or frown lines
