Description
An intimate evening of poetry exploring the theme Rite de Passage. This event will celebrate three headline poets who will perform already existing work alongside work written in response to the theme.
Features:
Bridget Minamore, shortlisted in 2013 to be London's first Young Poet Laureate. Her debut pamphlet, Titanic (2016), is on Out-Spoken Press.
Kareem Brown former Barbican Young Poet who has been commissioned by Tate Britain, Barbican, Southbank Centre, and The Last Poets.
Tania Nwachukwu, a Nigerian-British writer who is a member both Octavia and Barbican Young Poets poetry collectives, and the co-founder of Black in the Day.
