Sessa Omoregie Bio

London-based multidisciplinary creative, Sessa Omoregie is fascinated with cyber cultures and issues around femininity. Her work exists in the digital realm and she employs collaging and glitching techniques to investigate concepts of identity. Her project, CAMGIRLS explores selfies as art and body image in digital environments, replacing classic figures in art history with real people of today. The project is open for interaction with all women, gender-queer and non-binary people to create, discuss and experiment with self-portrayal. Advocating for sex workers' rights and women's rights in digital spaces and beyond; CAMGIRLS believes that everyone has the right to express themselves without harassment.
