Join the VAA’s Free Art Café, Online Webinar. Learn the art of getting noticed and creating powerful PR.
Have you ever wondered what visibility means for artists? What is great PR, and how can you achieve it? Our Art Café will answer these questions for you.
This session is a friendly introduction to the value of Visibility and PR. Held on Zoom, and open to artists of all levels, or guest experts will provide you with the guidance you need.
This session will cover:
- How to get your work seen by buyers
- Getting your name out there with great press
- Press Release Do’s & Don’ts
- How to find Press Contacts
- Insight into different PR avenues.
We will be joined by; Energy Artist, Vicky Paul, Independent Art Critic and Journalist, Laurie Rojas, and PR Professional Marine Costello.
Vicky Paul is a Scottish abstract artist, an intuitive and energy healer, known for her pioneering work conceptualising universal energy, transformation, psychic experiences, consciousness and chromology.
Laurie Rojas is an independent art critic, editor, lecturer and PR consultant with 20 years of experience in the art world. She is the former Senior Editor of Spike Art Magazine, Berlin's pre-eminent art magazine and event space, and the Berlin correspondent for The Art Newspaper. Her writing has been featured in Artbasel.com, Artsy, Artforum, Artnet, BMW Art Guide, Chicago Art Criticism, Time Out Chicago, The Nation, The New Yorker, Sotheby's Magazine, among others.
Marine is a French-American PR professional living and working in the UK. As Head of Communications and Partner at Parker Harris, Marine handles all things press, public relations, online marketing, partnerships, social media and consulting for artists and art organisations. She is passionate about helping artists showcase their talents and build their careers on their own terms.

I have not received my VAA Art Café: Visibility & PR ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your VAA Art Café: Visibility & PR tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your VAA Art Café: Visibility & PR tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my VAA Art Café: Visibility & PR ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

Where do I find a link to an online event?
Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event.
