Description
Using the Internet of Things (IoT) to enhance energy efficiency, comfort & wellbeing in residential blocks
A breakfast seminar for local authorities and social landlords
Funded by the DECC EEF, the groundbreaking urbaneer project has now come to its conclusion. The urbaneer project trialled the use of state-of-the-art IoT technologies to monitor energy and environmental data in residential blocks. It created a smart toolkit for local authorities and social landlords to use this data to optimise the retrofit of low carbon measures into their existing blocks.
urbaneer's aim is to improve overall building energy performance and living conditions, as well as reducing high energy bills for residents. Through urbaneer we've also explored other applications for this IoT technology to improve health, wellbeing, safety and security for social housing residents.
AgilityEco and BRE invite you to attend a one-off seminar to introduce you to the urbaneer project and explore other applications for IoT technology in social housing.

- Gearoid Lane, AgilityEco, will introduce the urbaneer project and explore applications for IoT technology in social housing

- Nick Ainger, AgilitySurvey, will share lessons learned on the practicalities and challenges of energy and environmental monitoring in social housing
- Russell Smith, Parity Projects, will look at focused asset investment from better data - Energy, Health and Asset Value
