    Description

Urban Tales invites you to a site-specific opera show in London's only Lighthouse.

The cultural event series Urban Tales returns for its second chapter and partners with Mahogany Opera Group to bring an electrifying new take on opera. Fusing classical, folk and electronic music with new poetry, the show will be staged at the iconic Lighthouse of Trinity Buoy Wharf as part of Totally Thames 2015. Both a live opera and a concept album, Folie à Deux includes groundbreaking lighting technology and a specially-created instrument: the electro-magnetic harp.

The river-inspired cultural journey will start with a boat ride from Central London to Trinity Buoy Wharf and offer an opportunity to enjoy unrivalled views of the Thames and rediscover the Docklands area. Upon arrival at the venue, refreshments and gourmet street food will be available for purchase.

Doors open at 7.30pm. Performance starts at 8.30pm.

Travel: A free boat service to the Lighthouse will be available for all ticket holders. Departure from London Bridge City Pier at 7pm (one way).

Present your ticket on arrival and receive a free bottle of refreshing craft ale brewed in Iceland, kindly provided for you by Einstök Beer.
