On social media, native advertising taps into the monumental power of word-of-mouth and places brands and products created by a trusted source, creating a more pleasurable experience for consumers and a more powerful marketing solution for brands. No doubt influencer marketing is the next big thing on social media! In this guest lecture Gloria Atanmo will discuss some of the most interesting aspects of influencer marketing and her own journey to become a top social media travel influencer.

Founder of The Blog Abroad, Gloria Atanmo gathers over 100K social media followers across social media platforms. She has also published a book titled, “From Excuses to Excursions: How I Started Traveling the World.” As a full-time story-teller, Atanmo creates influencer marketing campaigns for companies such as GoPro and Skyscanner. Atanmo is a digital nomad who wears many hats, including a graphic designer, photographer, social media influencer, writer, content producer, editor, and negotiator.
