Do Not Tell Me How To - written by Benedict Yeo, directed by Kan Yi Xin

“Ma, he is not Chinese, but he’s my boyfriend!” – Mandy
What if I find someone who is good looking, knows Hokkien, very hardworking and very filial, but he is not a girl?” – Greg
“This kind of thing won’t be accepted.”

A short story based in modern Singapore, where 2 best friends, Greg and Mandy, explore taboo topics of interracial and homosexual relationships.

Cast: Megan Ann Pang (Mandy), Loh Chung Kit (Greg), Amanda Lynn Sugiharto (Bee Hua), Ruth Ann Lee (Catherine), David Lu (Rafi), Kan Yi Xin (Larry), Seah Yixuan (Susan)

Choices - written and directed by K. Lim

What makes you happy?

A group of four bosom childhood friends - Charles, Dan, Natalie, and Theresa - meet after some time, but under a sombre setting - at the wake of Theresa’s mother.

The open-ended play touches upon issues millennials might face (e.g. taking the (un)conventional path, chasing after dreams, career choices). At the end of the day, they each make individual choices in line with their own values and circumstances. You could perhaps see glimpses of yourself in the characters portrayed.

Cast: David Lu (Charles), Loh Chung Kit (Dan), Ruth Ann Lee (Natalie), Megan Ann Pang (Theresa)

Doors open at 1.30pm; the bar will be open before the start of the show and during the intermission.
