ULTIMATE 40 are a band from Birmingham playing tribute to Birmingham's very own superstars of reggae UB40.
Formed early 2016, ULTIMATE 40 consists of multi talented musicians; some of whom have played not only alongside Ali Campbell but with many other legendary reggae musicians / bands including:- Musical Youth, Pato Banton, Maxi Priest, Aswad, Bitty Mclean, The Beat, Steel Pulse and also with Jamaican icons such as Burning Spear, John Holt, , Freddie McGregor, Gregory Isaacs and Ken Boothe.
ULTIMATE 40 currently tour across the UK and Europe and most recently played at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in at Silverstone, UK and Spa, Belgium.
ULTIMATE 40 cover the great UB40 songs in the original style, with their own added twist!
ULTIMATE 40 enjoy interacting with the audience whatever the occasion so everyone enjoys being part of the experience as much as the band.
