A magical trip on the Foyle by Canoe!

Back by popular demand, Foyle Paddlers night time paddles excite the senses as we guide you peacefully down the Foyle in decorated canoes.

Provisional plans (dependant on weather):

You will arrive at our boathouse in Prehen, where we will have a exciting atmosphere awating, we have some great ideas in the pipeline! Once checked in, a safety briefing will follow and you will be assigned to a specific craft and coach. The canoe will be lit with lanterns and decorated for your voyage, basic coaching will ensure you have the skills to paddle and once everyone is ready, we launch!

At a leisurely pace, the flotilla of rafts will gently make thier way under the Craigavon bridge, and as we meander down the foyle, expect to be impressed by the carnival lights from Ebrington, the unique view of our great peace bridge and the skyline of the city. We will conclude our journey by getting up close and personal with the masses of boats parked at the council pontoon where you will disembark. A free shuttle bus will provide a lift back up to your vehicles if left in Prehen.

- Minimum age 6
- You must be water confident, ie happy enough in treading water with the assitance of a bouyancy aid or lifejacket.
- All instruction given by Marshalls are for your and the greater groups safety, please ensure all members of your party are aware of this and follow the instructions accordingly.
