Night on Earth (1991)
Jim Jarmusch's bittersweet series of vignettes, each story taking place in a cab, at the same time, in LA, NY, Paris, Rome and Helsinki, portrays a range of characters from the driver's viewpoint. With superb camerawork and terrific dialogue, this is a Nineties classic that mixes pathos, drama and comedy in a neat package of storytelling.
