SOUND DA BIG TING DEM — TOUCHING BASS IS COMING IN HOT WITH THE DANCE OF THE SUMMER

On Sunday 20 August, the TOUCHING BASS CARNI JAM brings together our beloved community and some of the finest names across the soundsystem continuum for a stellar pre-Notting Hill Carnival get together at 60 Dock Road. Trust - there's something for unnu and everybody.

First up, it's an honour to welcome the mighty MAD PROFESSOR & SANDRA CROSS (Live PA); two names synonymous with the evolution of dub and lovers rock in the UK, and a massive TB influence.

LIAM BAILEY
(Live PA) is easily one of our favourite contemporary voices. Catch the Nottingham-born don blessing the tweeters with a live PA featuring the roots reggae, dancehall and dubbier sides of his catalogue.

DJs in full effect: from saxophonist, composer and bandleader NUBYA GARCIA pulling out a rare DJ set to new school South London junglist VXRGO; NTS Radio's favourite riddim joyrider, wordsmith and selenki JAMES MASSIAH to the Afro-diasporic adventures of TASH LC.

Touching Bass bossman, ERROL, is also on hand to whirl his Grenadian and Jamaican heritage into a heady brew of lovers rock, rocksteady and reggae.

It was important for us to bookend proceedings with the sound of traditional NYABINGHI DRUMMING (courtesy of Ras Nyanja, Ras Asheber and Naphtali Wakili), who will ground the space at start and finish.

As if that's not plenty, we've partnered with Herne Hill's UMANA YANA for that good good Guyanese food. Belly full guaranteed.

All powered by our friends from South London's CHEEKY SOUNDSYSTEM; supported by the homies at CARHARTT.

It's one of our most anticipated dances of the year, celebrating the roots of the music which has given us so much.

Miss this dance at your peril.

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.
