From the 20th to the 22nd of September business across Tooting are uniting to celebrate Tooting’s Tootopia, a neighbourhood festival championing local food, drink and culture.
Bayou Bar, the New Orleans residents of Tooting Broadway Market, after opening earlier this year are going all in for their first Tootopia and can’t wait to join in the fun.
With celebrations from Friday to Sunday the bar will be buzzing; we’re cramming five live acts in throughout the weekend ensuring that whenever you pop down, you’re promised a celebration.
In addition, following the success of their first ever crawfish boil earlier this year Bayou will be serving up a feast all Sunday, noon until 9pm. Visitors will be able to enjoy a tray of crawfish, corn, potatoes, dipping liquor, corn bread and a drink for just £30 while they soak up the party atmosphere within the market.
