    Warp Films. Big Arty Productions and F-10 are proud to present the official 'This Is England' club night.

    The night launched in Sheffield in May and features a timeline of music from the feature film and subsequent TV series 'fused with skinhead/ska/reggae/80's indie classics and the more recent 90's 'madchester'/rave/acid house.

    Produced by Sheffield Wrap Films, Shane Meadows' feature film This Is England was released in 2007 to critical acclaim, and quickly made Lol, Woody, Shaun and the gang household names. This was followed up with the four-part television series This is England '86, co-written by Jack Thorne, which aired on channel 4 in 2010. Both series became multi-award winning, with numerous nominations and wins; BAFTA Best Mini-Series ('88, win, Vicky McClure) and BAFTA Best Actor ('88, nomination, Joe Gilgun)

    Five years later and 2015 saw the transmission of This Is England '90, the final chaper in a decade of the landmark This Is England story. All the gang are back and facung new chnallenges, with some of the gang embracing the new decade with more gusto than others. Nominated for six BAFTA Awards, the series won Best Mini Series, Best Director and Best Supporting Actress for Chanel Cresswell in early 2016.
