Description
Welcome to the inaugural 'Working Mums' Club', an opportunity for us mum's who hold down a job as well as raising the future to get together, share our stories, grow our networks and hear from an inspirational Manc Mama on how she's making it work.
This month, we welcome serial entrepreneur and mother of three Lorna Davidson as our guest speaker.
Lorna is an entrepreneur with a history of successfully building, managing and exiting businesses. With over 25 years of experience in the UK Grocery Market, Lorna is regarded as an expert in the field of retail and product sales. She has worked with many of the UK’s leading brands creating demonstrable difference to their bottom line.
Lorna has a very clear working principle: People drive success. As such, all of her career has been centered on building, growing and leading great teams. A visionary and inspiring leader, Lorna’s main skills are around motivating people to achieve success they had only previously dreamed off. She firmly believes in the potential of people and that with the right training and guidance everyone can be part of a winning team. Lorna creates companies that people are proud to work for and with.
The format of the evening will be quite relaxed, but as a guide the running will look like this:
5.30 - 6.30 arrival, chatting and canapés
6.30 - 7.15 Lorna's presentation
7.15 - 8pm charity session and sharing forum (this is time for our chosen charity 'Smart Works' to share their mission, as well as give you the opportunity to share introductions on your businesses/ventures to see whether there is any opportunities to support each other)
8 - 8.30 drinks and finish
We hope you'll join us. We think it's going to be the start of something really special.
