    Description

The Reading Hour is growing a community of readers gathering once a month in a calm and quiet space. For one hour there will be no phones, no computers, no talking, and no shopping. Just reading.

This month, for obvious reasons, The Reading Hour has gone virtual only. You can still book a place here to make your commitment, or get in touch via Twitter @hourtoread or email hourtoread@gmail.com to let us know you're joining in.

The Reading Hour will be from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm, you don't have to stay for the full hour, come and go as you please - after all, how will we know! But you'll know, so treat yourself to some time to read.

Settle down wherever you are with your reading - a book or magazine or paper, even an e-reader, but no reading on phones, tablets or laptops, to avoid the temptation of emails and the internet.  Why not get the whole family involved for a bit of quiet time, and dogs, cats, mice, lizards, all pets, are also welcome to lounge. Get yourself some drinks and snacks too.

We looking forward to reading with you!

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the The (virtual) Reading Hour event online.
