Baron & Baroness Magazine x The London EDITION, invite you to join us on the night before Valentine’s for a sensual evening that will inspire all of the senses at the Valentine Cocktail Club. Led by contemporary artist and perfumer Sarah Baker, get ready to explore the pleasures of taste and smell with four cocktail and perfume pairings that have been matched to stimulate romance, desire and sex.

Artist Sarah Baker has long been interested in the sensual. For Valentines this year she has selected four perfumes to stimulate and arouse which she has paired with four of Punch Rooms cocktails to create a unique erotic menu. Sarah will discuss the creative possibilities of art and the senses guiding us through the menu in an intimate and irreverent workshop.

The  Valentine Cocktail Club will be held in the oak panelled Punch Room Bar at The London EDITION, inspired by manor house libraries and housing its very own sex shop, stocking Baron & Baroness merchandise and Sarah Baker Perfumes, just the thing for Valentine gifting. Plus the chance to win an artist perfume by Sarah Baker in our Valentine draw.

Sarah Baker Bio

Sarah Baker is a contemporary artist whose work work has been exhibited worldwide at institutions such as The V&A Museum as well as receiving awards such as the honourable Andy Warhol Foundation grant. Sarah Baker Perfumes is an extension of Baker’s artistic practice, where the scents themselves emerge as glamorous inanimate characters in lavish settings.

Baron and Baroness Magazine Bio

Baron and Baroness the erotic journals for gentlemen and ladies who enjoy a cocktail, chit chatting about modern art, fine dressing and when the lights fade become connoisseurs at taking their companion to bed. Baron and Baroness are at the core of human desire and are available in all good stores worldwide, including Dover Street Market, London, Colette Paris and Opening Ceremony, New York.

Punch Room at The London EDITION

Punch Room is inspired by the grand traditions of Great Britain: the traditional, aristocratic English country manor and the quintessential London private gentleman’s club with a modern, edgy, urban feel. Davide Segat (formerly of The Connaught, Green & Red, Hawksmoor and Bulgari Hotel) has cherry-picked a team with vast experience from world-renowned bars who have worked together to create an experience like no other. Featuring a daily changing punch, the bar’s ethos places heavy emphasis on the social aspect of sharing and discussion, with punch bowls available for 1, 2, 4, 6 or 8 people. Segat has developed a menu befit for both refined gentlemen and ladies that punch, including the EDITION house punch which is available all year round. Set to a soundtrack of throwback, vintage jazz, reggae and soul through the ages; the Punch Room offers visitors and hotel guests alike a space to relax and unwind whilst sampling the simple bar menu devised by chef and restaurateur Jason Atherton especially to accompany drinks.
