The Workshop is for all Therapists who wish to work in a clinical environment and feel comfortable with the change in work style when working with Life Limiting Illness’
The Workshop starts with a Theory for Up to 1 hour giving you details of the History of how the service was set up in 1994 and some Case Studies where massage has been used for the benefit of the patient.
80% of the Workshop covers Practical skills showing you techniques used such as positioning, working with gloves, embolismic stockings, distraction therapy and listening skills.
We finish the day with lots of information, added CPD Points, an addition to techniques in your Toolbox, Your Name added to a list of Practitioners that we are collecting who are suitable for these types of Clients and the joy of meeting like-minded people J
The Workshop is predominantly for Massage Therapists who wish to work in a Hospital or Hospice Setting however The Theory will benefit all Complementary Therapists as the Rules of the Care are similar. The Theory also includes setting up a Service in either a Hospice or Hospital. Jay Chandarana and Debbie Gribben have experience of delivering Reflexology and Reiki for Patients with Life Limiting Illness’ and will join Keith on handing down their experience on parts of the Practical Work.
The Royal Free Foundation Trust offers over 34 thousand treatments a year.

The Venue for the Workshop is the Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living, Rosehill, Hitchin Road, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire SG6 3NA
The Cost / Investment is £60 per person.
Lunch is not provided and can be pre-ordered and purchased from the on-site Vegetarian Café Nourish. Hot and Cold drinks will be available during the day.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
