Welcome to the SOA's 3rd Annual meeting in London. We are hosted at St John's Gate by our Patron, Surgeon Rear Admiral Lionel Jarvis, CBE DL KStJ, who is also Prior of England and the Islands.
The purpose of the meeting is to inform our supporters of the progress and activities both of the Eye Hospital Group, and of the Ophthalmic Association. The Association works to support our postgraduate programs in the Middle East, and across the Orders’ Priories.
The evening begins with a light reception and canapés at 1830, followed by addresses from our Patron, and the Chair of the Eye Hospital Group`(Sir Andrew Cash). There will be a short update on the Association's activities, including our medical exchange program with the Swedish Order, the London Masterclass Series, the 2019 Hospital and History Summit in Jerusalem, and our 2021 SOA-Asia Pacific Congress in Singapore. In addition, we welcome iYouth, our Irish and Swedish Confreres and Consœurs, and Flight2Hope mastermind Mark Coreth.
Our work in North America and Africa will also be discussed, as will the new 'iYouth' group for the Eye Hospital (this following the 'youth' theme of 2019's Grand Council meeting).
We shall then enjoy a formal dinner in the Gate's magnificent Chapter Hall.
We very much hope you can join us, and look forward to seeing you.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
