The Sparkling Widow – A Hallowe’en Special with Veuve Cliquot Champagne
Founded in 1772, the Maison of Cliquot-Ponsardin was uniquely steered from 1805 by the Veuve Cliquot following her husband’s death. Not only did Madame Cliquot maintain the company successfully, she made it the favourite of royalty through Europe, causing changes in the méthode champenoise still employed today. The art of Sabrage (opening a bottle with a cavalry sabre) also came as a result of this fascinating woman. We’ll sip some deliciously decadent cocktails while learning all about this amazing champagne.
Tickets are priced at £30 and include a tasting flight of 3 expressions and 3 cocktails.
